Black Dog Dérive (Machineries of Joy: Issue 1)
A downloadable game
Black Dog Dérive is a collaborative scenario for STALKER: The SciFi Roleplaying Game that hacks the rules of the game to provide a surreal, disjointed experience in which players provide many of the details about the weird anomalies, inorganisms and artefacts of Zone Toulouse. I’ve played it a few times now and people seem to like it.
STALKER: The SciFi Roleplaying Game is available over DriveThruRPG.
This, the first issue of Machineries of Joy, is in A4 format in order to ensure all pages are legible – but it is possible to print it out as a 32-page A5 booklet.
Instructions for doing so are here: https://helpx.adobe.com/uk/acrobat/kb/print-booklets-acrobat-reader.html
You'll need to view or print the PDF in Adobe Acrobat in order to avoid the grey blemishes that show in some preview readers, such as Chrome.
Black Dog Dérive is formed almost entirely of collage, cut-outs and found objects from books and other sources and as such forms a fairly large file-size of around 10MB.
